Rectangular enamelled copper wire

Damid is a rectangular enamelled copper wire with high heat resistance, and excellent resistance to transformer oils, typical solvents and mechanical stress. The available dimension range reaches from 1-100 mm² and it is often used as rectangular enamelled copper conductor in electric motors, rotor coils, transformers and chokes.

DAMIDBOND is a bondable rectangular copper wire enamelled with THEIC-modified polyester or polyesterimide, overcoated with with polyamideimide with an outer layer bonding the wire at temperatures of 180-220°C. DAMID 200 has a  high heat resistance, and excellent resistance to transformer oils, typical solvents and mechanical stress. The available dimension range reaches from 10-50 mm².

DAMIDOGLAS is an enamelled rectangular copper wire covered with polyester glassfibre yarn with thermal class 155. DAMIDOGLAS has very good adhesion to the conductor and en excellent resistance to mechanical stress.

DAKAP CR adds excellent resistance to partial discharges, also known as corona effects, to it’s properties.

DAMID AL is a standard enamelled aluminium wire with a high heat and freon resistance and very good resistance to transformer oils and typical solvents. DAMID AL is typically used in lightweight designs, oil-cooled transformers, dry-insulated transformers and welding transformers.
